Looking like a Rally Car – Train to Oxford this morning, Bill kindly collected me from the station and drove me back to RPS to their new workshop, which is on the other side of Witney. Benson has been with RPS for a couple of weeks to have a few bits and pieces done before the Flying Scotsman Rally which starts on Friday 12th March. The driving lamps have been fitted and mesh guards fitted on all the front lights. Rally plates for the Scotsman fitted front and back, mudflaps and the start number of 28 on the front doors all make the car look like a real rally car. Journey back to London was unpleasant, in heavy rain, but a new Moto Lita flying helmet has proved a great investment, almost too hot at times. Benson ran very well, sitting comfortably at 95-100kph.
